Halloween is coming, so on Gold we're getting ready to play the greatest Monsters of Music ever!

This Sunday (October 31, of course), we'll be bringing you the loudest, proudest (and scariest) monster tracks of all time.

Expect all the anthem classics from Queen, Sweet, Bruce Springsteen, Thin Lizzy and more, plus some spooky favourites from Michael Jackson, Blue Oyster Cult and others.

Join us on Saturday at 12-4pm, and again from 7-10pm, for power ballads, glam hellraisers, rock anthems and many more.

If that's not a way to kickstart your weekend, we don't know what is!

You will then be able to listen back to each special for seven days after broadcast on Global Player.
