Queen have the best-selling vinyl album of 2019 so far

It may have been released nearly 40 years ago, but Queen's Greatest Hits is the best-selling vinyl album of the year.

According to the Official Chart Company, Queen’s compilation from 1981 has sold 15,700 copies on vinyl in 2019 so far, to become the UK’s best-selling vinyl album of the year so far.

The soundtrack to the band’s biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, is also on the list of best-sellers, which compiles sales from January until the end of June 2019.

Billie Eilish’s debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? is second in the list.

The top 20 list also features classics like Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours and Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon.
