Gladys Knight announces a UK tour for 2019

The Empress of Soul is returning to the UK next year.
Gladys Knight will play eight UK dates in June and July 2019. This includes two dates at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Thursday, September 13 at 9am.
Known for her time with her backing band The Pips and for her hugely successful solo career, Gladys will be singing some of her best known hits, including 'Midnight Town to Georgia', ‘Help Me Make It Through The Night’, ‘Licence To Kill', ‘The Way We Were’, ‘Baby Don’t’ Change Your Mind’ and You’re The Best Thing'

Speaking about her tour on ITV's This Morning this week, 74-year-old Gladys said: “First of all, I love coming here. There is something about the people here that really realise their musicians’ presence and their reaction to us makes a difference.
“It seems like they just eat up the music, which is great for us.”
