Gold's gearing up for our big charity day, Thursday 8th October
Global's Make Some Noise is Gold's charity, improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in London and throughout the UK. We make some noise for those who don't get heard.
On Thursday 8th October, Gold will be joining up with radio stations across the UK for Make Some Noise Day.
And Gold listeners can join in too: just DRESS LOUD on 8th October. Whether you choose to dig out that bright jumper from the back of your wardrobe, or adorn yourself in a homage to Ziggy Stardust-era Bowie, put on something loud and donate what you can to Global's Make Some Noise.
Encourage workmates, schools and clubs to take part too. Download your DRESS LOUD pack now here.
Global's Make Some Noise supports children like Hannah at the Legacy Rainbow House. The House was set up by Joanne, mother to two children with brain disabilities, and aims to help these children develop their physical, emotional and social wellbeing. When Hannah came to the House she could only drag herself across the floor, and now can proudly sit, crawl and walk independently.
As well as giving much-needed financial grants to specially selected projects, we give a voice to charities that struggle to make themselves heard and their cause understood.
Global’s Make Some Noise is a national charity that helps to change young lives, brought to you by by 8 of the best loved commercial radio stations in the UK, Heart, Capital, Capital XTRA, Classic FM, Smooth, LBC, Radio X and Gold.
