Has feminism gone too far? Join the debate on Sky News #100Women
7 March 2018, 13:05
It is the eve of International Women's Day and Sky News is hosting a live debate on how far we've come in 100 years.
Parenting and pay, sex and scandals, women versus women. Has feminism gone far enough... or has it gone too far?
In 1918, the law in Britain was changed, allowing some women over the age of 30 to vote - and giving some women the chance to stand for Parliament.
Today, Kay Burley is hosting an hour-long discussion on whether, a century later, we have gender parity in the UK.
The panel is made up of business leaders, actresses, sportswomen, authors, politicians and military personnel.
From 4pm today they will be joined by 100 women from all walks of life and from across the country.
You can join the debate on social media, using the hashtags #100Women and #pressforprogress.
Follow the live blog from 4pm on skynews.com and watch it live on Sky News, Sky channel 501, Virgin 602, Freesat 202 and Freeview 233.
