Career Highlights:

• 17 UK number 1 singles
• Their albums include Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, Let It Be and Revolver.
• Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band won them 4 Grammys including Album of the Year and Best Album Cover.
• Movies include A Hard Day's Night in 1964 and Help! in 1965 Yellow submarine cartoon film in 1968, Let it be in 1970
• They were inducted into the Rock and roll hall of fame in 1998
• All four members of the band have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
• On February 9th 1964, they made their debut on US television on the Ed Sullivan Show. Over 50,000 people were reported to have applied for tickets and Beatlemania kicked off in the US.
• The afternoon of January 30, 1969 was when The Beatles performed an impromptu concert on the roof of their Savile Row Apple headquarters in London.  The outing was abruptly cut short by police who objected to the noise.  It turned out to be the band's last ever live performance.
• Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band won them 4 Grammys including Album of the Year and Best Album Cover.
• The band broke up in 1970
• On 09.09.09 after a wait of almost 22 years, digitally remastered versions of all The Beatles’ studio albums were released in stereo.
