(22/07/2010 03:44:46) I wish I'd been able to stay in West Palm Beach, Florida, in December 1969 to see the Stones - for only $12.50! I'd just bought a plane ticket to Europe, leaving before the concert, that couldn't be changed! I finally got to a live performance in 2003, though it cost a bit more. Worth every penny! Jagger/Richards songs are the ones I sing out loud for myself. Tour, PLEASE! |

(26/02/2010 12:17:24) Before the Stones became 'Mega' famous The played a gig at Leeds Town Hall. My mum was the cafe manager there and she used to make them cuppa's in their intervals and during that time she would have long chats with Mick who she said was one of the lovliest young men she had ever met. P.S. Love your show. Judy x |

(25/02/2010 17:55:01) I've seen the Stones in 1976 in Leicester...1982 at Wembley...then at Sheffield and the O2 stadium during their last tour. They remain the consumate epitomy of the original Rock 'n' Roll band. Why do they still do it?...Because they enjoy it....and so do we....as continuous sell outs prove. Keep windin em up Keef!!! |
