(14/10/2009 11:42:23) Flag as inappropriate content HI just want to say ,that we came to the gold weekender, on oct;9, 10, 11, 12th. that was the frist time, and it was great ,we enjoyed ever ,every day. of that weekend. and will be back for nov;with a few more of my family,great thanks to all. |

(13/10/2009 12:19:58) Flag as inappropriate content What a weekend...We left the weekender yesterday feeling totally shattered.... but happy. I have never danced so much in years. ( I didnt realise how difficult it was to dance to Dave Dee and cos Xanadu but I got there - whiplashes as well!!) All the people there were great, millions of smiles and lots of fun. This was our first and we will certainly be going to others - to hear the wonderful sounds is one thing but to see them being performed live was something else. To single one act out would be wrong because they were all great and it really brought the goosebumps out over and over again. Even the tribute bands were excellent so thanks to all concerend at Gold you really made a lot of people happy - its a pity we cant have one every weekend.. |

(12/10/2009 19:46:01) Flag as inappropriate content we have just arrived back from the sixties october weekender. what a briiliant weekend, the move. and the animals. plus the highlight, the non stop sixties show on the saturday evening. to see legends like mike darbo, mike pender, brian poole and the oustanding performer of the whole weekend p j proby sing individually and then all together as one big super group was amazing. everybody was up for a good time and the atmosphere was electric. we met so many nice people an hope to see them again when we go to the april and october weekenders in 2010. a special hello to the nice people from the wiltshire/ hampshire borders who helped pass the time with us when we were queing up every evening. you were great company. hope you will be there next year to help pass the time again. will have more chairs next time to sit on. from tony, sharon and adam. |

(02/10/2009 19:50:56) Flag as inappropriate content My comments were based upon information we picked up at the April 2009 Weekender. Its a case of who you know who is in the know. I now understand that in 2010 there will be an April normal Weekender, a Motown Weekender in November and the Xmas Party early December. There is also to be a Weekender in May or June but I don't have details. You could always contact Vauxhall Holiday Park of course. |
